Torbay is an annual Club event held at Camp Kennedy (Torbay) on the south coast west of Albany (http://www.campkennedy.com). Families rent and stay in separate huts and share a large hall, kitchen, shower/toilet and dining facilities. If there is enough of us, and there usually is, the Family Bushwalkers take over the camp to exclusion of others. It is a special absolute beachfront holiday in the last week of the school holidays. Past activities at the camp have included Concert Evening, Quiz Night, walk, swimming, canoeing, boogie boarding, fishing, mountain biking, coffee drinking at local cafe, etc.

As in previous years, the site is deemed alcohol and smoking free.

Indicative costs are: $18.00 per person per night for everyone 12yrs and up.
5-11 yr olds are $13.50.  4 yrs and under are free.   Minimum stay for those rates is FIVE nights, a surcharge of $3 pppn is payable for anyonestaying 4 nights or less.

The outdoor cooking, fridges and BBQ area is also available for use. Please bring your eskys and engels as space may be at a premium.

Check-in time is 3.00pm and check-out time is 11.00am.

There are between 2 and 11 beds in each hut and we allocate one family per hut. The huts have a bed base and mattress but little else – they are basic.  Outdoor kitchen / BBQ area has some supplies.
Dining hall has tables and benches. There is a large undercover BBQ.

ALL families are expected to help with clean-up during our stay of the communal Dining Hall, Kitchen, Showers and Toilets - a roster will be made for during the stay AND everyone needs to help on the final day.
