The Portagabra Track takes walkers though some beautiful jarrah forest, winding its way past granite outcrops and majestic grass trees, with stunning views of the Helena Valley River and Mundaring Weir. The walk features beautiful wildflowers between August and November and is suitable for all skill levels. The trail begins at the red/white trailhead sign in Fred Jacoby Park and then heads underneath the historic Mundaring to Kalgoorlie pipeline and into the forest. Please note dogs are not allowed on the trail as it's in a national park.

Meet at the start of the walk where you walk under the pipe, at Fred Jacoby Park, Hampel Road, Mundaring, 48 min (40.4 km) via National Highway 94. Please be punctual as we will not wait no more than 15mins.
Difficulty - Moderate level of fitness and experience required.
Bush Walk: Grade 3 - Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may have short steep hill sections a rough surface and many steps. Walks up to 20km.
